It was a massive honour and a privilege to be awarded the Jack Thomas Award again tonight! And it means just as much the second time around. Jack was a charismatic, intelligent and caring young individual who will never be forgotten June Thomas Was Cooper
Taekwon-Do-Wales is such a unique club and when people ask why I love my sport so much Im proud to tell them its because its my second family.... "Family isnt defined by last names or by blood but by Commitment and Love. It means showing up when you are needed the most, it means having eachothers backs and it means no matter what we never give up on eachother". So a massive Thank You to Peter Kent-Marrast for everything you do within Taekwon-Do-Wales and for building our crazy family
Id just like to say thank you for everything you've done for me since the day I decided to join Taekwondo. Thank you for all the friendship, support and guidance you have provided me with. Without the help of you both I know I wouldn't be the confident person I am today, Without the confidence I have gained I probably would not be joining the Army.
Thank you for absolutely everything, I'll miss you both whilst I'm gone and will definitely visit when I'm around. Love Danielle
If anyone want their kids to learn taekwondo contact Peter Kent-Marrast or Lauren Wynn from Taekwon-do-Wales.
Taekwondo do Wales has some amazing instructors and are very welcoming. Give it ago my kids have benefit from it so much.
Congratulations to all competitors who took part in the Battle of the Bridge Taekwondo Competition today...all of you worked very hard, and it was nice to see ITF Belgium make the long journey to join us too. Well done and thanks to Peter Kent-Marrast for a very well organised event...just as smooth as the Opens. Nice venue too and everyone thought so. Roll on 2018, cheers Sir.
Claire Louise Jurich:-
What a great day!! Well done Rebecca Jurich for getting Bronze medals in patterns and sparring today.....super proud!!! Fantastic battle of the bridge this year, congratulations Peter Kent-Marrast on a well organised competition, we enjoyed it. Also, well done to everyone else who competed, saw some great sportsmanship today. Fantastic start to 2017
Donna Griffin:- It was a fantastic well organised tournament and everyone enjoyed themselves. The way the children behaved during a minutes silence in memory of Jack Thomas was incredible, in all fairness to them some was as young as four and each and every child showed total respect. Lee Meyrick deserves a very special mention, Lee's team was absolutely fantastic, they certainly brought a few tears to me eye.
So proud of Imogen in her first competition thanks for all the help and guidance you've given her Peter Kent-Marrast
